Remember when the world used iTunes, and there were hundreds of exciting controllers for it? Along came a Spotify and did two things relevant to this story:
Removed the need to use iTunes (hurrah!)
Prevented any 3rd party development in the music application space (boo!)
SpotiMy allows you to control Spotify without having to switch focus of your current application. It's a tiny menu bar application, that when clicked, shows Spotify controls on top of whatever you're doing. We think it's pretty great.

If you have flash enabled, for a brief moment pretend you're not procastinating on the internet by stumbling around links shared by your friends, and in fact sitting in Paris, listening to Badly Drawn Boy, admiring pretty French people and nibbling a croissant.
